Check-in/Registration
Upon arrival, a signatured credit card and registration is required for a phone/damage/security deposit. Youth and college groups require a $25 per person cash or credit card deposit.

Substitutions
Management reserves the right to make comparable substitutions as deemed necessary in unforeseen circumstances. All rates are subject to change without notice.

Arrival Information
After receipt of final payment, you will receive an arrival information pack. For your check-in convenience, a call is required to Special Places with your estimated arrival time. Sorry, no refunds for late arrival or early departure.

Trip cancellation insurance
Trip cancellation insurance is always highly recommened. It is automatically offered (cost 6% of lodging) with your reservation. Insurance will be omitted upon your written request.

Travel Agent Services
When Special Places acts as your travel agent and makes a reservation for you at a property that is not within our managed properties inventory, the greater charge of either Special Places or the other management company's refund policies will take precedence.

Pet friendly homes are Blue Spruce, Mountain Meadow, Skyview Chalet and Winter Castle. All pets must be approved prior to arrival and a $100 per pet fee is required. This pet fee is NON-REFUNDABLE!

ALL RATES ARE SUBJECT TO CHANGE WITHOUT NOTICE - Please check with office for any rate changes.

Pre-Holiday: (12/15/01 thru 12/21/01).
At the time of booking, a credit card is required to secure your reservation. Your initial deposit of two nights lodging must be received within 10 days. If the initial deposit is not received, Special Places will charge a $150.00 uninsurable cancellation fee to your credit card.

Holiday: (12/22/01 thru 01/01/02).
At time of booking a credit card is required to secure your reservation. Your initial deposit of two nights lodging must be received within 10 days. If the initial deposit is not received, Special Places will charge $300.00 uninsurable cancellation fee to your credit card.

Final Payments
Bargain, Value, Presidents or Regular Season:
Check is preferred on the balance due. Final payment must be paid in full 60 days or more prior to arrival.

Monthly Rental: Balance is due 60 days prior to arrival and must be paid by check.

Pre-Holiday: Check is preferred on the balance due. Final payment must be paid in full 60 days prior to arrival.

Holiday: Check is preferred on the balance due. Final payment must be paid in full 75 days prior to arrival. After 10/23/01 all reservations require full payment at time of booking and are non-refundable .

Cancellations/Refunds
Bargain, Value, Presidents or Regular Season:
For any cancellation we will retain the $150, uninsurable, cancellation fee. If a reservation is canceled 90 to 60 days prior to arrival, the $150 cancellation fee and the two nights lodging rate will be FORFEITED. If a reservation is canceled less than 60 days prior to arrival, ALL PAYMENTS will be FORFEITED.

If a reservation is canceled 60 to 90 days prior to arrival, the $150 cancellation fee and the two nights lodging rate will be FORFEITED. Holiday: (12/22/01 thru 01/01/02).
For any cancellation we will retain $300 uninsurable cancellation fee. If a reservation is cancelled 90-120 days prior to arrival, the $300 cancellation fee and two nights lodging rate will be forfeited. If a reservation is cancelled less than 90 days prior to arrival, all payments will be forfeited.

Monthly Rental: An initial deposit of $500 is due within 10 days.

Final Payment
Check is preferred on the balance. The balance is due 21 days or more prior to arrival. Monthly Rental: Balance is due 60 days prior to arrival and must be paid by check.

Cancellations/Refunds
For any cancellation we will retain the $150, uninsurable, cancellation fee. 21 days prior to arrival - two nightsÕ lodging rate is FORFEITED along with cancellation fee. Less than 21 days prior to arrival -ALL PAYMENTS are FORFEITED.

Other Information
* Weekly stays are discounted 3-10%
* Monthly rate includes hot tub service once a week and utilities.
* Not included items in a monthly rental: One required mid-month clean (average charge $100.00 or more) and any extra hot tub services requested by tenant. Each additional service $20.00 minimum, drain and re-fill $75.00
* Steamboat has noise ordinances in residential neighborhoods; please take this into consideration when planning your vacation. Noise complaints are fined $100 per incident.
